Remembering lives lost to abortion

Sanctity of Human Life Sunday was established in 1984 as a day to remember the millions of unborn lives lost in abortion and to reflect on the inherent value of all human life, regardless of size, level of development, environment, or degree of dependency.

You may wonder today if your efforts supporting AWPC are making any difference...and the answer is a resounding YES.

Since our medical launch on May 1st, 2014, we have provided 132 ultrasounds to clients. The initial assessment of these clients showed 60 were abortion-minded (intended to abort) or abortion-vulnerable (vulnerable to abortion because of pressure from significant others, lack of any support system, loss of income, previous unhealed abortions, or lack of moral convictions).

Following the ultrasound and consulting with our medical staff & client advocates, we saw the number of abortion-minded & abortion-vulnerable clients come down to 28 - a change of 32 hearts and lives! 3 of these clients have now celebrated the birth of their babies - with many more mothers in waiting!

As believers in Christ, we need to be at the forefront of speaking up for "those who cannot speak for themselves" (Proverbs 31:8). Thank you for your support of AWPC, which continues to reach women & men facing unexpected pregnancies with truth, compassion, medical information regarding their pregnancies, and practical and spiritual assistance. With God’s help and yours – lives are being saved!
