Groups and Events

AWPC offers a variety of groups for parents in our community. These groups are open to anyone who is a current client at AWPC.

Mom Chat

Motherhood is tough. But being able to have community makes it easier! Every Wednesday at 10am, moms are invited to join us on Zoom for an encouraging discussion on a relevant topic.

Once a month we will meet in person at a local park.

Mom’s Bible study

Join other moms of little ones as we learn about God’s promises. The study is held over Zoom on Thursday evenings at 8:30-9pm.

family Events

Throughout the year, families are invited to participate in fun holiday events. We’ll supply the food, activities, and fun!

Family Field Trips

New in 2022, we are offering monthly family field trips! We’re excited for the opportunity to bring families together. Some places on the schedule are: Three Cedar’s Farm, Belle Isle, The Detroit Zoo, Dino Land, and more!

Miscarriage, StillBirth, and Early Infant Loss Support

We are here for parents who are looking for support and community while grieving the loss of a child through miscarriage, stillbirth, or early infant loss. We currently offer one-on-one meetings in-person or virtually.
