Support Groups

AWPC offers a variety of support groups for parents and women in our community. These support groups are open to clients who are also part of the Earn While You Learn or Men2Men programs, or clients may choose to participate in a support group in place of a program.

Parent+ Class

Our newest group is the Parent+ Class. This group is for mothers and their partners who are already clients of AWPC. It meets twice a month and covers topics on parenting and life skills. Call Alyssa at (248) 471-5858 for more information on this class.

Mom's Group

Dad's Group

In April 2018 we launched our new Dads Group! The dads meet once a month for pizza and pop while discussing the issues that fathers face in today's world.  This group is a place for dads to build community, gain knowledge, and strengthen their confidence in their roles as fathers. Miscarriage, StillBirth, and Early Infant Loss Support Group

This group is here for women who are looking for support and community while grieving the loss of a child through miscarriage, stillbirth, or early infant loss. We meet the second Tuesday of each month. Please RSVP at least 24 hours in advance for this group by calling (248) 471-5858.
