Jennifer

Executive Director

Since 2021, Jennifer has served as Executive Director of Another Way Pregnancy Center, leading the organization through a pivotal season marked by the acquisition of its first permanent location and a significant increase in the number of lives impacted. Under her leadership, AWPC has grown into a team of twelve compassionate, Christ-centered professionals dedicated to empowering women to choose life, thrive in their parenting journey, and encounter the hope of the Gospel. Jennifer is deeply committed to advancing the mission of AWPC and serving God through a ministry that uplifts women and couples during critical moments of decision. Outside of her role, she enjoys spending time with her husband, cheering on the Michigan football team, and caring for her beloved puppy, Blue.

Amanda

Assistant Director

Amanda has more than 20 years of experience in Human Resources, where she has built a career around helping people and organizations grow. She holds a Bachelor's in Business Administration and a Master's in Human Resources and Organizational Development from Eastern Michigan University. Her professional journey includes roles in consulting, learning and development, and HR leadership, all centered on building strong relationships and supporting others.

Outside of work, Amanda and her husband stay busy with their two children, who are active in school and sports. She enjoys crafting as a creative outlet and loves to travel, especially when it means making memories with her family.

Alyssa

Client Services Director

Alyssa has been at AWPC since 2013, and says she is still amazed by the growth and testimonies God orchestrates here every single year. When she’s not at work, she is riding her bike, baking bread, crafting, or seeking out trendy coffee shops. She has also enjoyed being a leader at a local Bible study.

Adrienne

Nurse Manager, R.N.

Adrienne graduated from Macomb Community College in 2012.  She has three children, ages 20, 18 and 15.  She and her husband have been married for twenty-two years.  Adrienne feels blessed to be a part of such important work in God’s Kingdom and sharing the love and hope of Jesus with the clients who come into AWPC and are lost and hurting.

Emily

Sonographer

Emily graduated from Madonna University with her Bachelor of Science degree in 2004. She later graduated from Oakland Community College with an Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography in 2015 and is registered in three specialties (AB, OB, Vascular). Emily is married with three daughters and she and her husband host house church in their home every week. She feels blessed to be a part of AWPC in that she can show clients that there is hope.

Abby

Registered Nurse

Abby has been married to her best friend for eight years and she and her husband share three young children. She graduated from Oral Roberts University in 2017. It was there in nursing school that she realized she is passionate about caring for pregnant, birthing and postpartum women. Her passion has only grown since she experienced the joy and privilege of birthing three children as well as experiencing the emotional and physical rollercoaster of two miscarriages. She feels privileged to spend most of her time with her children and has found much beauty and joy in God’s design for the mission of motherhood. She enjoys cooking, baking and tasting all types of ethnic cuisines. She is passionate about health and exercise, loves gardening, traveling and being outdoors. She loves trying new restaurants and coffee shops with her husband and will share a pot of tea and chocolate with anyone who will join her. In a dream life with unlimited time and resources, she would go to culinary school and midwifery school so she could run a restaurant and catch babies for a living!

Emily

Medical Receptionist

Emily is a lifetime Michigander who eagerly awaits the fall each year. She enjoys coffee, playing the piano, singing, and watching a good Hallmark movie.

Nancy

Receptionist

Nancy is a married mother of two.  She enjoys gardening, cards, biking and volunteering at her church, in her community, and at AWPC.

Sandy

Program Support Specialist

Sandy earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University in Communications and Marketing. Prior to joining AWPC, she spent 37 years in the insurance industry as a corporate insurance broker, while volunteering at several non-profit organizations.

Sandy and her husband of 35 years have three adult children, two sons and a daughter along with two amazing daughters-in-law.

In addition to being active members of their church, Sandy and her family enjoy beach vacations, boating on Lake St Clair and spending time with the newest member of her family, their German Shepherd puppy, Bella.

Sandy is excited to join the AWPC team to bring hope, joy and the love of Jesus to those they serve.

Debra

Director of Mission Advancement

Debra is a seasoned marketing and media professional with over 30 years of experience across multiple platforms, including TV, radio, print, billboard, and digital marketing. Debra studied psychology and marketing at Oakland University. Debra has built a successful career in marketing and non-profit through her dedication to cultivating strong business relationships and fostering meaningful connections that continue to bless and enrich her daily life.

Beyond her professional achievements, Debra is deeply committed to giving back to her community, having been actively involved in non-profit work for over 10 years. With a passion for helping others, she has also owned her own business and remains eager to learn new ways to support those around her.

Debra is a proud wife of 48 years and a loving mother to two grown sons, as well as a grandmother to a talented 13-year-old granddaughter, whom she loves to spoil and share creative moments with. Debra understands the preciousness of family and cherishes time spent with her loved ones. She also has a heart for supporting women and their families, inspired by her own experiences, including the loss of two angel babies.

When she’s not working, Debra enjoys drawing contests with her granddaughter, spending time in nature, shopping, and gardening. Her passions and faith continue to inspire her and give inspiration to those she meets.

Tara

Administrative Assistant

Tara is a loving wife and mom to three angel babies. She longs to use her journey through pregnancy and loss to spread hope and the love of Christ to others. Her heart’s desire is for her life to be a testimony of how God can bring beauty and purpose from even the deepest pain.

She and her husband are active members of their church and involved in several ministries. Tara enjoys traveling with her husband, reading at cozy coffee shops, watching new shows, crocheting, and baking. She is grateful to be a part of AWPC and loves witnessing the amazing work God is doing each day through the ministry.

Jerry

Accountant

Jerry has worked in accounting for more than forty years. He has been married more than fifty years and has five children, twenty-two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Jerry received Jesus as his Savior at the age of twenty-two. He enjoys reading and is a lifelong learner.

Laurie

Receptionist

Laurie is a mom of five, and grandma of four little ones. In her spare time, she likes to cross-stitch and read. She also enjoys going on vacation every year to Williamsburg, Virginia with her family. She is happy to be involved with such a wonderful and needed ministry.
